Terms of service

The terms under which aiyourbusiness provides its AI conversational CRM to businesses.

These terms are an agreement between aiyourbusiness ("we", "us") and the business that orders the service ("you", the "Customer"). They apply together with the quote or order you accepted, which states your plan, the implementation fee, the subscription price and the start date.

Our commercial model is simple: a one-time implementation fee, then a yearly subscription that renews each year. There is no self-service checkout; our team sets up your account and records your payments.

01The agreement

You accept these terms by signing or confirming a quote, by paying the implementation fee, or by using the service, whichever comes first. The person who accepts confirms that they are authorised to bind the Customer.

If a quote and these terms conflict, the quote prevails for prices, dates and scope; these terms prevail for everything else.

02The service

The service is the aiyourbusiness product: an AI assistant that answers your customers on WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger and a website widget, with a shared inbox, contact list, knowledge base, automations, tools, analytics and a public API, as described on our website and in your quote.

We improve the service continuously and may add, change or retire features, provided the core capabilities you paid for are maintained during your term. The service depends on third-party platforms (Meta, Google, Anthropic and our hosting providers); we are not responsible for their outages, policy changes or decisions about your accounts with them.

03Accounts and access

Our team creates your workspace and the first owner account; you invite your own team members and assign their roles. You are responsible for everyone who uses the service under your workspace, for keeping credentials confidential and for telling us promptly about any unauthorised access.

You must give us accurate business and contact details and keep them up to date, so that invoices, renewal reminders and notices reach you.

04Implementation fee

The implementation fee is a one-time charge stated in your quote. It covers the work described there: connecting your channels, configuring the assistant, training it on the material you provide and onboarding your team.

It is invoiced when you accept the quote and is due before implementation starts. Once implementation has started the fee is non-refundable. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately.

05Yearly subscription

The subscription gives you access to the plan in your quote for a term of twelve months, starting on the activation date we agree with you. It is paid in advance for the whole term.

Each plan has quotas: AI messages per month, agents and channel integrations. Message quotas reset every month and unused messages do not roll over. Extra message packs, extra agents or a plan change during the term are agreed in writing and invoiced for the remainder of the term.

Prices are stated in the currency of your quote and exclude taxes, which are added where applicable. Charges that third parties bill you directly, such as Meta's WhatsApp conversation charges, are not included unless your quote says so.

06Renewal, grace period and suspension

Your subscription renews for a further term of twelve months when you pay the renewal invoice. We send the renewal invoice and reminders before your paid-through date (typically 30, 14, 7 and 1 days ahead), and we tell you about any price change at least 30 days before it applies.

If payment has not reached us by the paid-through date, the service continues for a grace period of 7 days. When the grace period ends without payment, the assistant stops replying and plan-gated features are suspended; your dashboard, conversations and data remain accessible so that you can export them or renew.

Renewing after the paid-through date restores the service immediately. The new term starts on the previous paid-through date or on the renewal date, whichever is later.

07Termination

You may end the agreement at any time by not renewing. Either party may terminate for a material breach that is not cured within 14 days of written notice. We may suspend or terminate the service immediately if it is used in breach of the acceptable-use rules or of Meta's or Google's platform policies, if your platform accounts are disabled, or if a payment is more than 30 days overdue.

Prepaid fees are not refunded, except that if we terminate without cause we refund the unused part of the current term pro rata. On termination your access ends and your data is handled as described under "Your data".

08Your data

You own the data in your workspace: conversations, contacts, knowledge, files, settings and the assistant's configuration ("Customer Data"). You grant us the rights needed to host, process and transmit it to provide the service, including sending it to our AI and transcription providers to generate replies.

You can export your leads, contacts and the assistant's configuration from the dashboard at any time, in XLSX, CSV or JSON. After termination you have 30 days to export; afterwards we delete Customer Data from our active systems, and it leaves our backups when they expire.

We do not use Customer Data to train AI models. We may use aggregated usage statistics that do not identify you or your customers to operate and improve the service. Our Privacy policy explains how personal data is handled.

09Your responsibilities

  • Have a lawful basis, and where required the consent, to contact your customers on each channel, and provide them with your own privacy notice
  • Obtain opt-in before sending WhatsApp templates and broadcasts, and honour opt-outs
  • Keep the assistant's instructions and knowledge accurate and lawful, and review its replies regularly
  • Keep human handover available for complaints, health, legal, financial or other sensitive matters
  • Use the service within your plan's quotas and only for your own business
  • Comply with the laws that apply to your business and your customers, including consumer-protection and data-protection laws

10Acceptable use

You must not use the service to:

  • Send spam, unsolicited broadcasts or messages to people who did not agree to hear from you
  • Publish or send content that is illegal, deceptive, harassing, discriminatory, sexually explicit or harmful
  • Impersonate another person or business, or hide that customers are talking to an AI assistant when they ask
  • Sell or promote goods or services that Meta's or Google's policies prohibit on their platforms
  • Probe, scrape, overload, reverse-engineer or interfere with the service, or bypass quotas, rate limits or security measures
  • Resell or sublicense the service, or use it to build a competing product

11Meta and Google platform terms

Using WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger through the service requires your own Meta Business account and your acceptance of Meta's terms, including the WhatsApp Business Terms of Service, the Meta Platform Terms and the Commerce and Business Messaging policies. Meta decides whether your templates are approved, whether your number may send messages and what it charges for conversations.

Connecting Google Calendar or Google Sheets requires your consent in Google's sign-in flow; our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its limited-use requirements. We cannot restore access that a platform suspends or revokes.

12AI-generated replies

The assistant generates replies automatically from your instructions, your knowledge and the conversation. Like any AI system it can make mistakes, misunderstand a question or state something inaccurate. You configure, test and monitor the assistant and remain responsible for what is communicated to your customers in your name.

The assistant's replies are not professional advice. Keep a person in the loop for decisions that need judgement, and use the handover and AI-off controls whenever a conversation requires it.

13Intellectual property

We own the service, its software, design and documentation, and the aiyourbusiness brand. You own your Customer Data, your brand and your content. If you send us suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

Unless you are on a plan that removes it, the chat widget and hosted pages show a short "Powered by aiyourbusiness" line.

14Confidentiality

Each party keeps the other's non-public information confidential and uses it only for this agreement. This does not cover information that is public, already known, independently developed or required to be disclosed by law.

15Warranties and liability

We provide the service with reasonable skill and care, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that the assistant will achieve a particular sales or support result. Beyond what these terms say, the service is provided as is.

To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable to the other for indirect, consequential or special losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability under this agreement is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as liability for fraud.

16Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we notify workspace owners by email at least 30 days before they take effect; continuing to use the service after that date means you accept them. Otherwise the terms in force at your last renewal apply for the rest of your term.

17Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The parties try first to settle any dispute amicably within 30 days of written notice; failing that, the courts of Cairo have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory rules that protect you in your own country.
